Only members who get one of the 126 slots will receive a confirmation e-mail with the preparation and submission information. After members' submissions have been viewed, the employer will notify each member who viewed their audition.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

DOLLY PARTON (Female, 40s-50s) Dolly Parton portrays the country singer/songwriter superstar in the later stages of her career and serves as the narrator reflecting on her life. She is wise, witty, warm, and deeply charismatic, with a sharp sense of humor. Embraces her signature style. An excellent singer.
DOLLY (Female, 20s) Dolly portrays the star in the early stages of her career on her journey to stardom. Ambitious, resilient, and full of heart, she is a dreamer with a quick wit and an infectious sense of humor. We witness her determination as she learns to conquer the world beyond the Smoky Mountains and faces the challenges of the music industry. An excellent singer.
LITTLE DOLLY (Female, 10-12 years old) Little Dolly is the precocious, imaginative, and fearless younger version of Dolly. She is curious and full of life, with a natural ability to entertain. Comes from humble beginnings of a family of 12 children from the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. An excellent singer.
PORTER WAGONER (Male, late 30s-40s) Porter Wagoner is one of the most successful and beloved country music stars of his time -- and a mentor to Dolly. Porter is charming, confident, and slightly old-fashioned, providing both opportunities and obstacles in Dolly’s early career. He has a larger-than-life personality with an underlying complexity. Strong singer.
CARL DEAN/JOHNNY CASH (Male, late 30s-early 40s) Carl Dean is Dolly’s love interest and eventual husband. A grounded and humble Nashville local who provides balance to Dolly’s big dreams. Carl is sweet, understated, and steadfast in his support for Dolly, even when he feels overshadowed by her ambitions. Warm, genuine, tall, handsome, compassionate. Johnny Cash was a successful singer-songwriter known for his bass-baritone voice. A strong singer.
JUDY OGLE (Female, late 30s-early 40s) Judy Ogle is Dolly’s lifelong best friend and confidante. In the Airforce in her younger life, an eventual member of Dolly’s security team. Tough, scrappy, loyal, practical, and quick-witted. Judy is a source of strength and humor amidst Dolly’s rise to fame. An excellent singer.
LITTLE JUDY OGLE (Female, 10-12 years old) Little Judy Ogle is a plucky and feisty schoolmate of Little Dolly. She fights off the bullies on her behalf. Playful, strong-willed, and fiercely protective of Little Dolly. Has great comedic timing and singing ability.
SANDY GALLIN (Male, late 30s-early 40s) Sandy Gallin is Dolly Parton’s manager after she leaves Porter and moves to Hollywood. A sharp and savvy music executive who plays a significant role in Dolly’s rise to global stardom. Sandy is driven, charismatic, larger-than-life, with a knack for spotting talent and navigating the entertainment industry. A strong singer.
