Richard
Davin's father. 40's. Very earnest. Remains the straight man while extraordinary things are happening all around him. He is the heart of the show. Caucasian. Tenor or Baritenor. Sings up to a G. Sing something to show warmth and sincerity.

Richard's 6 year old son. CAST
Detective Zanderhoff:
Male, late 40's-mid 60's. A hard-boiled detective, nearing retirement, gruff with a sarcastic sense of humor. He thiks he's seen it all but his attitude changes as the story unfolds. Baritone or Baritenor, up to a F#. Any ethnicity. Sing something dramatic that shows character and grit.
Principal Bolton/Dark Priest:
Male, 40-65. He is an officious elementary school principal, uptight and a worrier. But he is also the leader of a band of misfit devil worshippers. A commanding singing voice is a must. Baritone. Strong low F up to an E. Any ethncitiy. Please sing something comic.
Officer Epstein/Carl
Male, 30's-40's. He is a uniformed police officer and Zanderhoff's assistant. A bit bumbling. Carl is the Bogeman-the creature of children's nightmares. But he is actually a pretty normal, if weird man. He is obsessed with his huge hands (though they are not really all that big). He's convinced that nobody
can love him because of his hands, and this has made him the monster we know. Baritenor- up to an F. Any ethnicity. Sing something that shows quirky comedy and vocal range.
Father Macduffy/Ensemble:
Male, 35-65.. An Irish Priest, strong comedic skills. Will also play smaller roles. Tenor or Baritenor up to a G. Any ethnicity.
Galiana/Mrs. Huvey
Female, 35-60. Galiana is mysterious and ethereal; may be older than time or perhaps much younger. A comic actress, larger than life. Mrs. Huvey is an older elementary school teacher who has seen it all. Soprano or mezzo up to a G and a strong belt. Sing something grandiose, either comical or serious that shows theatricality and range
Lucifer
Male, 35-45. The Devil himself, larger than life. Require a dynamic perfomer who is able to be threatening, likeable, cynical, comical and ultimately vulnerable. Must have strong vocal skills.Tenor or Baritenor. Sing something grand or epic more in the legit music theatre world.
