Breakdown

BRIGHT STAR is set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in the 1920’s and 1940’s. The singing in BRIGHT STAR is in the folk and bluegrass style and calls for strong, natural sounding voices. (there is no “big Broadway” or pop “power belting” in this show)

Seeking:

EQUITY MALE AND FEMALE SINGERS:
Singers who dance/move well; interesting and varied types; must be excellent singers and strong actors to play a variety of small character parts and understudy principal roles, and swings, characters age 20’s-late 50’s
