Seeking
An ensemble of Native American actors, musicians, dancers, drummers, and shadow dancers and ALL interested individuals that want to tell this important story. Ages 14 and up.
AEA Actors will be considered for all roles w/ at least 3 contracts available.

Preparation
Please prepare a monologue, story, or poem appropriate to the material, not to exceed 3 minutes

Breakdown

Please be familiar with the book and or the story. This show involves many performance disciplines; acting experience is not required but is helpful. Native speakers are encouraged, but not required. Commitment to telling this story is a must.


Black Elk- the medicine man of the Oglala Lakota
Hoksila- his grandson
An ensemble of 14 storytellers, musicians, drummers, dancers to play a variety of historical figures, characters and expressions moods and spirits in Black Elk's vision.
