Actors for Magic Theatre's production of
Baltimore Waltz by Paula Vogel, directed by
Jonathan Moscone. Actors of all ethnicities and
types are encouraged to apply. Strong
preference for Bay Area actors.

BREAKDOWN
Anna: all ethnicities; female, early 30s. An elementary school teacher, unsophisticated. Dynamic.
Carl: all ethnicities; male, mid 30s, Anna's brother, an idealized version. A recently fired public
librarian. Humorous, determined and lovable, with a gentle cockiness.
Third Man/Doctor and many other roles: all ethnicities; 30s - 50s. A character who is a combination of
various men Anna and Carl meet on their trip, ranging from medical officials, waiters, strangers and
lovers. Looking for versatility and wit.
