20s to Early 40s. African-American females. Four performers portray Janis’s musical icons over the years including: Etta James, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Odetta, and Aretha Franklin. Not looking for impersonators. One of these actresses will sing Summertime in the original key. Strong Blues, Rock, and Legit vocal skills required.
PREPARATION
Please prepare a gospel/R&B/rock/soul selection, in the style of any of the women listed on the breakdown. Accompanist provided. Bring picture and resume.
