Seeking strong triple threat performers - strong dance ability with proficiency in contemporary, jazz and hip-hop styles. Unique, interesting vocal style - confident with rock and pop. Characterful and quirky individuals. Variety of ages, vocal ranges and appearances.
RON RICHLAND: M. Baritone/Strong Rapper. Playing age: 33-54. Larry’s friend. A truck driver and movie nerd. Ron once dreamed of becoming a Hollywood filmmaker and cameraman but gave up on his dream as a teenager. Warm, supportive, nerdy and laidback.
MARGARET VAN DEUSEN (CAROL’S MOM): F. Pop Mezzo with a more mature, soulful tone - G4 to strong E6 belt. Playing age: 50-71. Carol’s mom. A single parent who wants what is best for her daughter. Strong, wise, protective, cautious, disapproving, conscientious and sensible.
DAVID LETTERMAN: M. Pop Tenor/Confident Rapper. Playing age: 35. A late-night talk show host on NBC. A big TV personality and a showman. Charismatic, confident, funny, sometimes at the expense of the guests on his show.
JERRY FLECK (THE KID): Any gender. Strong Rock vocal. Playing age: 8-29. A young kid who witnesses Larry’s flight. An outsider. Energetic, enthusiastic and naive. Strong rock vocal.
