You will receive a confirmation e-mail with an audition form and the song selection choices for each character. Please fill out the form and e-mail it back to us to confirm your appointment. TEMPERATURE CHECK AND FACE MASKS REQUIRED FOR IN PERSON AUDITION.
VIRTUAL AUDITIONS: We will also be accepting video submissions. To submit a video audition, please e-mail littleradicaltheatrics@gmail.com with your headshot (or recent photo) and resume. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail with an audition form and the song selection choices for each character. Please submit a video of yourself singing the chosen selection along with the audition form by SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1ST.
CALLBACKS: Callbacks will be held FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6TH 6-9 PM at 1450 Citrus Oaks Ave Gotha FL. Every role will receive a time slot. Similar to the in-person auditions, those called back will be asked to wait in their cars and will recieve a text when it is their turn to come in side and perform their callback sides.TEMEPRATURE CHECK AND FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE CALLBACK.
PERFORMANCES: We are adding two performances! Performances are scheduled to run JANUARY 14th - 17TH 2021 (6 performances) at the Marshall Ellis Performing Arts Center 1300 La Quinta Dr Orlando, FL. Performers will perform in masks, stage crew and front of house crew will be wearing masks and audience members will be REQUIRED to wear masks for the duration of the performance.
REHEARSALS: Rehearsals beginning on Wednesday November 10th will be held Mon, Wed, Fri evenings (either 6-9 PM or 7-10 PM) and Sunday afternoons at Quest Church 1450 Citrus Oaks Ave Gotha Fl. Into the Woods will be staged with social distancing in mind. All performers, creative team members, production team members, and anyone at rehearsal must wear a mask at ALL times and maintain physical distancing. We will also be rehearsing outside as much as possible in the ample grounds of our rehearsal space and our indoor space is a large area where it will be easy to maintain distance. Exact rehearsal schedule will depend on the role and we will work around reasonable conflicts. Temperature checks will be mandatory before each rehearsal.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN -

Narrator (Male, 10-14 or 40-60)
An intellectual and pleasant story-teller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience. (G2-E4)
Cinderella (Female, Late Teens-30s)
A young, earnest maiden who is constantly mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Weird, quirky, talks to birds, especially seeking actors who break the mold of the “traditional princess type”. (G3-G5)
Jack (Male, Late Teens-20s)
The feckless Giant killer who is 'almost a man.' He is adventurous, naive, energetic, and bright-eyed. (B2-G4)
Milky White (Male, 20s-30s)
Jack’s beloved cow and best friend. Not a puppet or a man in a cow costume. (Ensemble Singer)
Jack's Mother (Female, 30+)
Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed. (Bb3-Gb5)
The Baker (Male, Late 20s-40s)
A harried and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles. (Ab2-G4)
The Baker's Wife (Female, Late 20s-40s)
Determined and bright woman who wishes to be a mother. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors. (F3-G5)
Cinderella's Stepmother (Female Identifying, 40+)
The mean-spirited, demanding stepmother of Cinderella. May double as other roles within the ensemble. (A3-F#5)
Florinda (Female, Late Teens-20s)
One of Cinderella's stepsisters who is black of heart. They follow in their mother's footsteps of abusing Cinderella. Will double as various other roles in the ensemble.

Lucinda (Female, Late Teens-20s)
Another one of Cinderella's stepsisters who is black of heart. They follow in their mother's footsteps of abusing Cinderella. Will double as various other roles in the ensemble (C4-Ab5)
Little Red Ridinghood (Female, Early Teens-20s)
A spoiled young girl who is strong-willed, quick-wited, fearless, yet youthful and naive. (Bb3-F5)
The Witch (Female, Late 20s-40s)
Sarcastic, ugly-then-gorgeous, obsessive protector of Rapunzel who is straightforward and aggressive. (F3-G5)
Cinderella's Mother (Female, Late 30s-50s)
Deceased with her soul guarding and aiding her daughter from a tree. May double as other roles within the ensemble.

Mysterious Man (Male, 50-65)
A mischievous vagrant and nosy meddler. He is a good-natured protector and observer. May double with Narrator or Cinderella’s Father. (G2-Eb4)
Rapunzel (Female, Late Teens-20s)
A loopy-but-lovely maiden who is sheltered by the Witch and terribly lonely. She yearns to experience the world. Will double as other roles in the ensemble. (B3-A5)
Cinderella's Prince (Male, 20s-30s)
Vain and gorgeous, he is a disloyal lover who is currently searching for the next new, exciting thing. Doubles as The Wolf, a hungry and insatiable hunter who takes advantage of the weak by misleading and captivating his prey. (F4-B2)
Rapunzel's Prince (Male, 20s-30s)
Just as vain and gorgeous as his Prince brother, he is always chasing the newest, most exiting endeavor. Doubles as the Second Wolf. (C#3-E4)
Steward (Male, Late 20s-40s)
Servant to the royal family. Uppity, always knows the answer, even when he doesn’t. Will double as other roles within the ensemble. (Ensemble Singer)
