The Satin Dollz maintain a weekly residency in Midtown, with additional performances for various clients as opportunities arise. Each Dollz member is typically booked for a minimum of 2-4 dates per month, depending on availability.





Residency performances are scheduled every Friday and Saturday evening in Midtown from 6-8 PM.





Rehearsals commence on Monday, May 12th, from 6-9 PM (attendance is required). Regular rehearsals take place every Monday, except on holidays.









The Satin Dollz are seeking additional vocalists to add to their New York Division for their weekly residency in midtown. We highly encourage and invite BIPOC performers to submit.





SEEKING: Charismatic, trained vocalists based in NYC (BIPOC singers are highly encouraged to apply) who are comfortable portraying a female persona. Applicants must be skilled in tight harmonies and confident handling intricate jazz and big band swing arrangements. Performances include our weekly residency, special events, vintage festivals, and concerts, with opportunities for international performances. Repertoire spans the 1920s, 1940s, and Rockabilly/1950s, with some modern mashups. The ability to perform choreography while singing is required.

COMPENSATION:



$150-$350 per performance, plus travel, lodging, and meals for out-of-town shows. Gigs are booked individually, and performers have the flexibility to choose which ones they accept based on their availability and pay rate.





REHEARSALS:



Rehearsals take place weekly on Monday nights from 6-9 PM, except on holidays or booked gig dates. Vocalists must be available to attend these sessions regularly.



All funds are earned from booked performances to cover gig pay and expenses, and singers are paid per show; rehearsals are not paid separately.
