Woodchuck Hard Cider, one of the leading purveyors of handcrafted hard apple cider in the U.S., is proud to announce the sixth annual Earth Week campaign to support American Forests' Global ReLeaf program and the Vermont Tree Fruit Growers Association. From April 15 through April 22, 2015, Woodchuck will donate $1 to both organizations for every new Facebook fan, Twitter follower, Instagram follower, E-newsletter sign-up, and for each referral from a current fan that results in a sign up on the official Earth Week 2015 form.

Over 47,000 trees have been donated to American Forests since the campaign began in 2010. The community ReLeaf program shines a national spotlight on the value of urban forests, with efforts focused on identifying urban areas with critical needs and then assessing, restoring and monitoring urban forest project sites. Since first partnering with Vermont Tree Fruit Growers Association in 2013, the campaign has raised over $12,000 in support of VTFGA's mission to plan develop, implement and coordinate programs and services which promote the growth and production of tree fruits and to better the conditions of fruit growers in Vermont.

"As passionate and dedicated cider makers intent on delivering the best cider possible, it's imperative that we commit our energy and resources to protect the local agriculture we depend on as well as the larger global environment," said Woodchuck Marketing Director, Bridget Blacklock. "The annual campaign is a great way to rally our amazing fans while also supporting causes we believe in."

Woodchuck encourages all cider fans to participate in the Earth Week 2015 campaign and to spread the word. To participate in the campaign, fans can sign up for the e-newsletter, or like and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
