White Castle' Brings the Heat Back on National Slider Day

Sriracha is back at White Castle! This National Hamburger Month will be the hottest yet as the Sriracha Chicken Slider makes a comeback along with a few new Ultimate friends! And just in case guests need to cool off after the new Ultimate Sliders and sides, they can try the new real fruit smoothies available at all White Castle locations.

"For the first National Slider Day on May 15 ever, we're offering new Ultimate Sliders and sides, the spiciest menu items to come out of the test kitchen so far," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. "It's proof that big taste can come in small bites, which is also why we believe that our Sliders deserve their own day of recognition."

"Slider-brations" for the inaugural National Slider Day (Friday, May 15) will kickoff with the unprecedented giveaway of 10,000 Sliders throughout the day. Through "Random Acts of Crave,"lucky customers from across the country who visit White Castle on National Slider Day will receive a free sack of 10 Sliders. Likewise, White Castle will surprise several Columbus, Ohio-area nonprofits with certificates for 500 free Sliders at a date and time of their choosing to thank them for their work in the community.

SLIDER OPTIONS

• Ultimate Sriracha Chicken Slider - Made with all white meat Sriracha spiced chicken, topped with jalapeno cheese, sliced jalapenos and chipotle mayo.
• Sriracha Chicken Slider - Made with all white meat Sriracha spiced chicken topped with chipotle mayo (for those that don't want all the heat of the "Ultimate").
• Ultimate Jalapeno Cheese Slider - The Original Slider made with 100% beef, topped with jalapeno cheese, sliced jalapenos and chipotle mayo.
• Ultimate Jalapeno Breakfast Slider - Choice of sausage or bacon, fresh cracked egg, topped with jalapeno cheese, sliced jalapenos and chipotle mayo. *White Castle serves breakfast starting at midnight.

HOT SIDES

• Ultimate Jalapeno Cheese Fries - Crinkle cut fries topped with melted cheese, sliced jalapenos and chipotle mayo.
• Ultimate Jalapeno Onion Chips - Crispy onion chips topped with melted cheese, sliced jalapenos and chipotle mayo.

SMOOTHIES

• Cooling things off, Strawberry-Banana and Peach Smoothies will officially launch to quench those sweet summer cravings. Each Smoothie is made with real Dole fruit and Yoplait low-fat yogurt.

*The spicy line-up will be available through July 4, 2015 or while supplies last.

White Castle will also be accepting entries for its 15 th annual Cravers Hall of Fame. The deadline for entering the 2015 contest is June 30, 2015. Entries are submitted online at whitecastle.com/CHOF, where rules and regulations are also posted.
