Giving customers a taste of the past, Whataburger and H-E-B announced today the introduction of Whataburger's new Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips. Whataburger originally offered customers potato chips when the first restaurant opened in 1950, and continued serving them until introducing french fries to the menu in 1962. To tie back to its heritage, Whataburger has created crunchy, kettle-cooked chips inspired by some of its most popular restaurant flavors.

Whataburger launched into retail sales in Spring 2013 by bottling its popular line of condiments - Fancy Ketchup, Spicy Ketchup and Original Mustard - and making them available at H-E-B stores in Texas. Since then, new products have been added to shelves including Whataburger's own Premium Pork Sausage, Honey Butter, Original Mayo, Whataburger's line of Signature Sauces: Creamy Pepper, Peppercorn Ranch, Jalapeño Ranch and Honey Mustard, Whataburger's Honey BBQ and Bold BBQ Sauces and Whataburger's Original Pancake Mix.
