WALLFLOWER
Wallflower in the West Village has a delicious Thanksgiving menu, complete with kid's options. This is the first year that the talented crew at Wallflower will be welcoming diners on Thanksgiving Day.
Located on the corner of W. 12th and Greenwich Ave in the West Village, Wallflower is a refined neighborhood restaurant that emphasizes market driven, French-country inspired cuisine, creative cocktails and an approachable wine list. Proving the old adage that "good things come in small packages," the restaurant is a study in relaxed sophistication, the ideal destination for a knockout Thanksgiving meal.
This year, Wallflower will offer seatings on Thanksgiving Day from 1PM - 7PM. The four-course prix-fixe menu ($75) features seasonal classics with French twists all brought to you by Executive Chef Derrick Paez (formerly of Daniel). Highlights include Pumpkin Velouté (Butternut Squash, Black Trumpet Mushroom and Pumpkin Spice Cream) and the decadent Turkey Ballotine (Braised Turkey Leg stuffed with Chesnut, Red Swiss Chard, Drunken Cranberry Chutney and Turkey Jus). For dessert, guests will dig into Wallflower's Apple Tart Tatin or Chocolate Molten Cake, both served with a generous helping of Vanilla Gelato.
Each dish pairs beautifully with one of Xavier Herit's incredible craft cocktails, Negroni Carbonato (Campari, Byrrh Grand Quinquina Aperitif, Cynar, Verjus, Lemon Sorbet, Sparkling Wine), or a thoughtfully-selected wine by the glass. In addition to the four course prix-fixe, Wallflower will also offer a family-friendly option for younger diners.
Wallflower is located at 235 West 12th Street, New York, NY 10014. To make a reservation, call 646.682.9842 or visit their web site at http://www.wallflowernyc.com/.
