SUR LA ROUTE Grab and Go Destination Opens on the UES

One of New York City's leading grocery stores, Fairway Market on East 86th Street has now opened the the doors to their new café, Sur La Route. The café is poised to be a top gourmet grab-and-go destination for Upper East Siders and many more. They aim to take convenience to another level with quality and assortment. Sur La Route offers favorites that include bagels, pizza, sandwiches, chopped salad, and coffee. Foods have the finest, freshest ingredients and showcase unique flavors. There even have daily deals that will change on a monthly basis. And now, with service on the Second Avenue Subway, getting there has never been easier.

They've taken the bagel to the next level. Fairway is known to have some of the best bagels in NYC. They've taken the authentic experience to a new level by creating an assortment of house-made cream cheese spreads you cannot find anywhere else like Fig Gorgonzola Caramelized Onion, Cookies and Cream, Funfetti, and Kale Feta.

Your favorite baked goods are all in one place. Because NYC has the best to offer, Sur La Route has partnered with some of NYC's best bakeries to offer the best assortment of fresh baked pastries that are delivered daily. Their local bakery partners include Bread Alone, Tissery, International Delights, Dough Donuts, Patisserie Vanessa, Zaro's, Aladdin, Orwashers, Amy's Bakery, Heritage Bakers, Delice, All-American, Papillion and Jimmy's Bakery.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings are available. They have a curated offering of sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that allows them to focus on quality and quick service. There are 4 signature sandwiches to choose from that highlight house-made spreads or a customer can choose to build their own using premium ingredients.

They offer a fresh take on the chopped salad. Additional add-ins include seasonal and trending items like riced cauliflower, roasted squash, and shaved Brussels Sprouts with a unique selection of Cindy's Premium Salad Dressings. Hot Soups are available to accompany your sandwich or salad. And the varieties rotate daily.

They have more than your average pizza pie. Sicilian-style pan pizza is topped with the best ingredients. Varieties include the Three Way with Chicken Marsala, Italian Sausage, and Pepperoni; Buffalo Chicken; California Chicken; Mushroom Truffle; and their signature cheese pizza, Grandma-Style. The Slices are hearty and filling but leave you wanting more.

Coffee Drinks are made by trained baristas. They brew Lavazza for both espresso drinks and drip coffee.
