Broadwayworld.com recently attended an Alìe Rosé Happy Hour on the scenic rooftop of The Polynesian in Midtown where we met Livia le Divelec, the Frescobaldi Toscana Brand Ambassador and Winemaker. She is spearheading Frescobaldi's efforts to cultivate Tuscan diversity through their prized wines.
As a Brand Ambassador, Livia is actively involved with the seven Frescobaldi Toscana estates including Tenuta Ammiraglia, which produces the renowned Alìe Rosé. This elegant and stylish wine with its fresh notes of fruit is produced in the Tuscan coastal town of Maremma and is characterized by its beautiful pale pink color. The wine is a very well-balanced blend of Syrah and Vermentino.
One element of the Happy Hour was to experience food and wine pairings. Alìe Rosé 2018 was served alongside Tiki-inspired foods and worked wonderfully with tasty, spicy items like The Polynesian's Green Curry Cauliflower, Pork Spring Rolls, Hawaiian Ribs and Spicy Cucumber.
