Outback Steakhouse' Welcomes 'Mates' in Brooklyn with Newly Designed Restaurant

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ Outback Steakhouse is debuting its newest restaurant location featuring a new "Modern Australia" design in Brooklyn, NY opening its doors at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 26. In celebration of the grand opening, Outback is launching the "Steak for a Year" sweepstakes, offering 10 lucky customers free steak for one year. Plus, to show its support of the local community, Outback Steakhouse will be hosting a Charity Give Back Day on February 9, in which a portion of the restaurant's sales will benefit the American Cancer Society, Brooklyn Chapter.

To mark the official grand opening, the Brooklyn Outback restaurant is inviting local area residents to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 26. Guests can also enter the "Steak for a Year" sweepstakes via iPads located in the restaurant for the chance to win free steak for one year at Outback. The new restaurant will feature a "Modern Australia" design with decor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious, energetic bar area that includes a community table a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. The new bar will also feature customized seating and furnishings and is connected directly to the outdoor dining patio.

In addition to Outback's bold steak dinner entrees, customers will be able to enjoy a wide variety of fast and affordable lunch options including lunch combos such as the Classic Outback Burger or Chicken Artichoke Flatbread for just $8.99, or the new Aussie Fish, Steak or Chicken Tacos for just $8.99. Plus, for a limited time guests can enjoy Outback's Wood-Fire Grilled favorites, including Baby Back Ribs, Wood-Fire Grilled Pork Porterhouse and the new Wood-Fire Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie, each served with a freshly made side and a Signature Side Salad starting at just $14.99.

The Brooklyn Outback Steakhouse is located at 355 Gateway Drive, Brooklyn, NY 11239 and is open from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday Thursday, 11 a.m. 12 a.m. Friday- Saturday, and 11 a.m. 10 p.m. on Sunday.
