You simply can't get Pan-Mediterranean specialties like Bustan prepares anywhere else. This Upper West Side spot in New York City serves eclectic gourmet cuisine prepared with a real flair by Executive Chef Efraim Nahon. The 74-seat restaurant has an inviting bar area and comfortable seating in their stylish dining room. The restaurant opens to a charming, colorful garden patio for al fresco dining.
Chef Nahon creates dishes in the restaurant's custom-made, dome shaped, wood fired taboon oven. It is Nahon's careful blends of herbs and spices that make Bustan's entire menu truly distinctive. Enjoy signature items like the Whole Heirloom Cauliflower ($13) and the wonderful Lamb Terracotta ($26) that is baked in a flaky crust with grilled vegetables, tahini and pistachio. Their Taboon Whole Baked Fish is a true testimony to Nahon's culinary talents; the dish is a seafood lover's dream. There is also a nice selection of light and tasty flatbreads that are perfect for table sharing.
General Manager, Guy Goldstein leads the beverage team to pair drinks with your meal and to present wonderful, cocktail creations. We have stopped by Bustan for drinks and small plates; a great spot to meet up with friends or for drinks after work.
