MOVEMBER BALL Meatball Competition Fundraiser in NYC at Refinery Rooftop on 11/1

On Wednesday, November 1, Refinery Rooftop is hosting their Second Annual Movember Ball meatball competition to raise funds and awareness for The Movember Foundation. If you like meatballs, boozing, and donating to a worthy cause, this event is for you. It will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Movember is the only charity tackling men's health on a global scale, year round. They are addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. They know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. Movember is independent of government funding, so they can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 13 years they have funded more than 1,200 men's health projects around the world.

The Movember Ball brings together chefs from some of New York's finest dining establishments to compete for the title of "Best Balls in the City." Chefs from Trademark Taste + Grind, Boulton & Watt, Atwood, City Celler, Louie and Chan, 33 Greenwich, and more will compete in a friendly competition to decide whose meatballs are truly the best. The winner will be decided by votes from guests and a panel of esteemed foodie judges that include Competitive Eater Crazy Legs Conti, Gothamist Food Editor Nell Casey, Gotham Burger Social Club Founder Mike Puma, and The Skinny Pig Founder Dara Pollack.

Each ticket includes one cocktail, a raffle ticket, and all the meatballs you can imagine. There will be a DJ to help you dance off some of the meatballs throughout the night.
