MONARCH ROOFTOP and LOVAGE ROOFTOP Share July 4th Cocktail Recipes

Two popular New York City venues, Monarch Rooftop and Lovage Rooftop are sharing with Broadwayworld.com readers some of their special boozy recipes that are being served for the July 4th holiday weekend. And plan to stop by the Midtown Manhattan rooftop bars. A NYC "staycation" has never looked so good.

Red, White & Blueberry Sparkler by Monarch Rooftop (one serving)

-1 oz. rose wine

-1 oz. fig vodka

-Splash of peach schnapps

-Splash of lemon juice

-Top with prosecco

-To garnish, use unlimited amounts of fresh strawberries & blueberries.

Spiked Berries by Lovage Rooftop

-Hollow out large strawberries, cutting off the very bottom so they stand up on their own. without putting a hole in the strawberry.

-Dissolve blue Jell-O in 1 cup of hot water, add 1 cup of cold blueberry vodka.

-Fill strawberries up half way and set in fridge to set for 45 min to 1 hour.

-Dissolve plain gelatin in 1 cup of hot cream of coconut, add 1 cup of cold vanilla vodka.

-Fill strawberries up the rest of the way and set in fridge to fully set.

-To serve, cut the strawberries in half and skewer them.
