MIFUNE New York the acclaimed Japanese restaurant in Midtown East now has a new Happy Hour and Sushi Counter Menu. The menu features the unique offering of the reservation only, Nakaochi Tuna Rib, which serves one or two people and includes the tuna rib and fixings to make your own hand rolls at the table. Guests are to meant to use the accompanying sea shells to scrape the meat off of the ribs.
Additionally, a $45 Omakase as well as a $65 Omakaseare available with selections including Truffle and Mushroom Chawanmushi, seven pieces of Nigiri, Miso Soup and Hand Rolls. Two, three and four sushi roll combos can also be found on the menu. Cocktails for $9 from Shingo Gokan, International Bartender of 2017 can be enjoyed for $9 with selections including the Seven Samurai (rye whiskey, aged sake, East India Sherry, bitters and smoke) and The Hidden Fortress (bourbon, milk, honey shrub, orange cordial and bitters). Each of these offerings are only available Monday - Friday at the Sushi Counter from 5pm-7pm.
The menu also includes sashimi, sushi, rolls and Oshi sushi with selections such as pressed tuna tartare avocado roll, pressed eel rolls and more. These can all be ordered at the sushi counter or the main dining room.
