It's that time of year again, when Cinco de Mayo invites New Yorkers to find a spot where they can enjoy food, drink, and fun. We've rounded up some bars and eateries uptown, downtown, and all around the town where you can enjoy the fiesta spirit of May 5th. It's a lucky thing for revelers that the 2017 celebration falls on a Friday, so enjoy yourself and visit a few of these great places.

TAVO (West Village) This year, look beyond tequila shots and celebrate Cinco de Mayo for not one, but two days at West Village restaurant Tavo. Head to Tavo on May 5th and May 6th where Mexican native and Head Bartender Diego Livera has created a special menu of six fun cocktails for this occasion, each for only $12. For the spicy lover, try the Luchador (tequila, maple, chili). Looking for a different take on the classic Paloma - then the First, But Not Least (tequila, Homemade grapefruit soda) is for you. Dos Caminos (Multiple Locations in NYC) This year, take your Cinco de Mayo celebration to the next level at Dos Caminos. Head to any one of their five locations in New York City for delicious food, margaritas and specials. Dos Caminos will be offering a refreshing take on the classic margarita for Cinco de Mayo with the Calle Fresca Margarita. Along with their happy hour specials such as $6 food options, $5 Coronas and a $10 Tequila Tasting Flight, they will also offer options like a Tequila Punch Bowl (serves 4), Alaskan King Crab Guacamole, Shrimp Tacos and Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers. Ethyl's Alcohol and Food (Upper East Side) Ethyl's, the home of the Fi-Dolla Burger, will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with food and drink specials with Mexican influences until 4 a.m. The Cinco' Dolla Burger will be a green chili cheeseburger with the signature all-beef patty, layered with Roasted Poblanos, PepperJack Cheese and a Spicy "GoGo Sauce" (made with Pickled Jalapenos & Smoked Paprika). Ethyl's will also be debuting the Watermelon Felon cocktail, made with muddled watermelon, Espolón blanco tequila, lime juice, triple sec and agave. Specialty off-the-menu tacos for $3 will be available all night. Happy hour will be available from 4 - 7p.m. featuring combo specials like $8 for two tacos with a beer and $10 for two tacos with a Watermelon Felon. Al Horno Lean Mexican Kitchen (Multiple Locations in Manhattan) This casual and fast-growing food chain is dedicated to serving delicious Mexican food with a healthy twist. Leading up to May 5th, they are offering Burritos during lunchtime for $4.44. And on Cinco de Mayo, celebrate with free guacamole and chips for any party of two or more with orders over $20. Camacho's (Union Square) This new hotspot is an authentic Mexican taqueria and tequila bar named after Executive Chef Fernando Camacho. Kings of Kobe (Hell's Kitchen) A neighborhood favorite, Kings of Kobe has an inventive burger offering for Cinco de Mayo. Their The El Rey Burger incorporates some Mexican street food staples. The brioche bun gets a wagyu beef patty, house made sweet corn esquites (smoky, fresh corn-off-the-cob dressed with creamy, cheesy, lime-scented, chili-flecked sauce), queso fresco, chorizo and jalapeno. Smoky, tangy, slightly sweet and definitely spicy, it will be available on Saturday, May 5th for $12.50.

Cantina Rooftop (Hell's Kitchen) For a traditional Cinco de Mayo experience on a spectacular midtown rooftop, check out Cantina Rooftop for Executive Chef Gonazlo Colon's Modern Mexican cuisine. The rooftop restaurant and lounge offer a selection of ceviches, guacamoles and tacos, in addition to signature house specials including Camarones Al Ajillio (Garlic Shrimp, Tequila Flame, Lime Juice, Chile De Arbol, Mexican Rice) and Rooftop Molcajete (Grilled Sirloin Cecina, Adobo Chicken, Chorizo, Enchilado Queso Fresco, Grilled Cactus, Charred Jalapeno, Comal Tortillas).
