Just in time for spring, GODIVA, the renowned Belgian chocolatier, has reinvented iconic pieces from their wonderful line of chocolates. The GODIVA Gold Icons collection combines distinctive ingredient pairings with bursts of color. This limited edition collection makes holiday gift giving easy and sharing tasty confections with friends and family a pleasure.
The GODIVA Chef chocolatiers Jean Apostolou and Ilse Wilmots created the New Gold Icons Collection after exploring culinary trends for recipe inspiration. "We were deeply inspired by the boundary-pushing ingredient pairings that are prominent in the modern culinary sphere," said Chef Jean. "It was an exciting challenge to create these experimental flavors, while still honoring the heritage of GODIVA's iconic pieces," added Chef Ilse.
With springtime colors hues of pink, peach and yellow, the new pieces include avant-garde flavors like lemon olive oil, passion fruit and pink pepper, and mango. These flavors are complemented by traditional offerings like ginger, aromatic black tea, and sweet Madagascan vanilla, encased in premium milk or dark Belgian chocolate.
"Following the 90th anniversary of the brand, we're excited to continue the momentum with the debut of the Gold Icons collection. The packaging features a shimmering gold paper that serves as a reminder of the brand heritage, craftsmanship and expertise. The green ribbon and colorful box frame hint at the vibrancy of the pieces and the beauty of the season.
