Yves Jadot Restaurant Group has announced the opening of Farm to Burger, a farm-to-table inspired ode to the American patty. The group, which is owned and operated by Yves Jadot and Alberto Benenati, is behind New York City's most romantic bars, Dear Irving and The Raines Law Room, and restaurants Jones Wood Foundry and Petite Abeille. Farm to Burger's menu includes classic beef burgers, as well as vegetarian, fish and chicken options. Accommodating 90 guests, the restaurant is located on the ground floor of the new Aliz Hotel Times Square at 310 W. 40th Street.
Pasture-Raised Beef from Fossil Farms and Bien Cuit Buns
Farm to Burger's décor suggests a chic country farmhouse transplanted to the heart of New York City. The restaurant sources its all-natural beef from Fossil Farms, whose cows are pasture-raised and finished by feeding on source-verified vegetarian grain. The farm is noted for its "Never Ever Program," which bans the use of antibiotics, hormones and steroids. Farm to Burger's vegetarian option is courtesy of Impossible Foods, producer of the renowned Impossible Burger. All buns are from Bien Cuit, which is dedicated to supporting regenerative agriculture.
"Everyone loves burgers and we thought the neighborhood deserved a more eco-friendly approach to patties," says Yves Jadot, CEO & Founder, Yves Jadot Restaurant Group. "Our focus is on quality, texture and taste. No frozen burgers, nothing prefabricated, no additives, just genuine simple cooking. In keeping with this ethos, we work with the best purveyors who offer sustainable, humanely-raised meat and produce that respects the environment."
"From using exclusively pasture-raised beef to eco-friendly takeout boxes, we are embracing an environmentally conscious approach to burgers," says Alberto Benenati, Co-Owner, Yves Jadot Restaurant Group. "Through our décor and laid back atmosphere, we bring a bit of authenticity and tranquility from the countryside to the hustle bustle of Manhattan. We look forward to serving nearby office workers and residents, as well as theater-goers and visitors to the city."
Burgers are priced between $13 and $16. A budget-friendly $20 combo offers a burger, fries and a choice of soup or salad. Guests wanting to splurge can opt for a Kobe beef burger for $26. Beverages include craft beer and sustainable wines that are organic, when possible. For those with a sweet tooth, Farm to Burger serves Milkshakes and Floats.
