Emmy Red Carpet Cocktails with JIM BEAM

If you're looking for some fantastic cocktails to enjoy while watching the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, we have three cleverly themed recipes using Jim Beam Bourbon.

This year's awards show honors the best in U.S. prime time television programming from June 1, 2016 through May 31, 2017 as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Emmy Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on September 17th, hosted by Stephen Colbert.

The Upside Down

Ingredients:

1.5oz Jim Beam Bourbon

1/2oz lemon juice

1/2oz plum simple syrup

1/4oz maple syrup

Method: Build everything in a cocktail tin over ice and shake until cold. Single strain into a rocks glass filled with an ice sphere. Garnish with a maple glazed waffle.

The Veep

Ingredients:

1.5oz Jim Beam Bourbon

1/2oz lemon juice

6 raspberries

1/2oz simple syrup

1 egg white

Method: Muddle raspberries in a cocktail shaker, then add the rest of the ingredients and dry shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Add ice to the tin and shake until cold. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a skewer of fresh raspberries and cherries.

Wild West

Ingredients:

1.5oz Jim Beam Bourbon

1oz grapefruit juice

3/4oz rosemary simple syrup

Dash of active charcoal

Lemon flavored Italian soda

Method: Build everything except the soda in a cocktail tin over ice and shake until cold. Single strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with the soda and garnish with lemon and lime wheels and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
