TESSA (Upper West Side) TESSA will be featuring Thanksgiving spins on the impeccable modern Mediterranean cuisine that the restaurant is known for. The young and talented Executive Chef Eric Cope has crafted a special prix fixe menu for those looking to have a luxurious Thanksgiving dinner without the arduous kitchen work. The menu offers a range of options, beginning with a choice of amuse bouche: Truffle Aranchini with mustard seed aioli and watercress, or Caviar with marble potato, creme fraiche and chive. Continue with an entree such as Cervena Venison Loin with beech mushroom, spaetzle, kabocha squash, dried cherry and venison jus, and finish sweet with the Spiced Pumpkin Mousse. Monarch Rooftop & Indoor Lounge (Midtown) Monarch is offering an opportunity to watch the parade in-person, while staying warm and enjoying one of the best views - 18 floors above the action. Overlooking 6th Avenue and 35thStreet, from where much of the parade is broadcast, guests can overlook the parade from Monarch's enclosed see-through winterized terrace and feast on brunch and specialty cocktails. Padoca Bakery (Upper East Side) The Thanksgiving menu from Padoca Bakery was created specially for the holiday by their star pastry chef, Rachel Binder. Born in Toronto and raised in Jerusalem, Binder began her career under Chef Peter Hoffman at Savoy, and went on to do stints at Union Square Cafe and Tabla, before leaving her more recent position as Pastry Chef of Maialino to open Padoca.
Though Padoca is known for its unique Brazilian/Israeli specialties, the popular Upper East Side bakery is focusing on the classics this holiday, offering the following for pre-order and store pickup: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Pecan Pie, Apple Crumb Pie, Pumpkin Cranberry Bread Loaf (also currently available by the slice in store), Gluten Free Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Loaf

The Late Late (Lower East Side) The Late Late is hosting their Third Annual Ex-Pat Thanksgiving Feast. $50 gets you a two hour open bar and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner plate. Seatings are available at 1pm and 4pm and can be reserved by emailing info@thelatelate.com. There will be a DJ later in the evening to celebrate all the music we're thankful for this year.
Cantina Rooftop (Hell's Kitchen) Mix it up this Thanksgiving with Modern Mexican fare at Cantina Rooftop. Skip the traditional turkey and stuffing and instead enjoy a selection of ceviches, guacamoles and tacos. Kellari Taverna (Midtown) Kellari Taverna will host a special Thanksgiving celebration on November 24th. The Greek restaurant, which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, will offer a 3 course $55 prix fixe menu of Thanksgiving classics. The celebratory meal will begin with Butternut Squash Soup, Beets Napolean, Harvest Salad, Avgolemono Soup or Croquettes, followed by six entree choices including Amish Farmed Turkey served with Cranberry and Orange Sauce and a Niman Ranch Prime Rib Eye.
