BlueStar is proud to announce that four of the brands' All Star Chefs, Marc Vetri, Ford Fry, Slade Rushing and Brian Huston, have been named James Beard semifinalists in the 2015 Restaurant and Chef Award categories.

BlueStar All Stars are a collection of chefs, critics and interior designers who are passionate about achieving restaurant quality results at home.

Marc Vetri is the founder of Philadelphia's critically acclaimed Vetri Family of Restaurants. Vetri was the recipient of a 2005 James Beard Award for Best Chef, Mid-Atlantic and was nominated again in 2008 in the Best New Restaurant category for Osteria, which was also named the Best Italian Eatery in Philadelphia by The Daily Meal in 2015. Vetri also was a finalist for "Outstanding Chef" in 2014.

The company's newest All Star Chef, Ford Fry, has been named a semifinalist in the Outstanding Restaurateur category. Fry has five restaurants, including the newly-opened St. Cecelia in Atlanta. He was previously nominated for a James Beard Award for King + Duke. Zagat named three of his restaurants to the 2015 list of Best Décor in Atlanta.

Formerly of gastropub The Pelican, Brian Huston has been named a finalist in the category of Best Chef, Great Lakes for 2015. Huston opened his restaurant, Boltwood, in spring 2014, a new-American restaurant with an ever-changing and locally-sourced menu.

A semifinalist in the Best Restaurant, South category is Slade Rushing. Rushing recently took over Brennan's in New Orleans (now named The Big Pink). He also formerly opened Long Branch in 2005 and MiLa in 2007 alongside his wife, award-winning chef Allison Vines-Rushing.

"We are excited for all of our All Star Chef recipients," said Eliza Sheffield, vice president of marketing, BlueStar. "This prestigious award speaks to the caliber of their work.
