Midtown Manhattan alert! Trouble's Trust is a cozy cocktail bar and lounge tucked away under the grand staircase in the Lotte New York Palace lobby. You don't have to be a guest of the hotel to enjoy the venue. Their sleek, intimate setting is ideal for area theatergoers who are looking for a drink before or after the show. They feature a great variety of beers, wines and a menu of handcrafted cocktails. We stopped by on a Saturday night before attending Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic Show that is held on Fridays and Saturdays at The Palace.

The drinks on the menu feature unique flavor profiles. Two of them pay homage to Leona Helmsley and her pup Trouble, the bar's namesake. The "Pampered Pooch" is made with Owney's Original NY Rum, B&B, Cocchi Bianco, fresh lime, simple syrup, creole bitters, and sugar cane garnish. The "Queen of Mean" is a combination of Breuckelen NY Wheat Whiskey, Ginger Bee NY, Red Jacket NY Apple Juice, Averell "Damson Gin" NY, elderflower syrup, fresh lemon, and a baked apple chip garnish. Another unique drink is their "Ruby Kiss" that promises "love at first sip." It is a wonderful combination of Ketel One Vodka, Peach Schnapps, fresh lemon, simple syrup, raspberries, and sparkling wine.

As a nod to Steve Cohen's enchanting magic trick Think-A-Drink, Trouble's Trust serves up an artisanal drink all it's own. Prepared in a tea kettle, the "Think-A-Drink" cocktail is composed of Nolets Silver Dry Gin, Bullet Bourbon, Earl Grey Tea, Crème De Violette, Lemon, Rosemary, and Muddled Blackberry. The cocktail is a delightful, magical experience.

Guest's of Trouble's Trust will like the gracious attentive service, elegant comfortable seating options, and expansive bar. It is a welcoming, relaxing destination for New Yorkers and guests of the city.

Trouble's Trust is located 455 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10022. For more information, please visit: https://www.lottenypalace.com/dining/troubles-trust-cocktail-bar or call 212.888.7000.
