Upper West Siders and many more will enjoy a visit to Machiavelli for their "Apertivo," which is Italian for Happy Hour. It is offered 4:00 to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Gather your group and stop by. They are this week's "Bar of the Week."
This special late afternoon time at Machiavelli offers beverages ordered in the bar area with delectable complimentary items like their Margherita Pizza, mixed olives, house made potato chips, and Caprese Skewers with mozzarella, tomatoes and salami. The spacious bar is an ideal place to relax. It is absolutely charming with its ornate decor and you'll love the service.
Wine connoisseurs will appreciate the fine Italian choices offered by the glass that includes Livia Felluga Sauvignon Blanc by Friuli Venezia Giulia and Nebbiolo d'Alba Occhetti by Renato Ratti from Piemont. We sampled one of their artisanal cocktails, the Paolo Uccello, made with Hornitos Reposado Tequila, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur and fresh rosemary and thyme. Classic cocktails are made to order and for those that prefer, there's a great selection of beer by the bottle.
Come for drinks, stay for dinner. Machiavelli is a wonderful restaurant with gracious service and fantastic authentic Northern Italian cuisine.
