Relax and enjoy. The Haven Rooftop in Midtown is our "Bar of the Week." Located atop the Sanctuary Hotel in Midtown, this Moroccan themed spot is now dubbed the "Haven Oasis" and features food and drink in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. It is perfect before and after the theater, for drinks after work, and for friendly gatherings. Palm trees, Moroccan carpeting, plushy banquettes, and lanterns add to the ambiance of the venue and make it a real retreat.

Haven Rooftop has great views of the Times Square area and the food and drink are top-notch. With a generous bar and lounge space, they also has a dining room where guests can enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner.

Award-winning Mixologist, Isaac Grillo has created themed cocktails (all $14) like their Safe Haven with Absolut mango, passion fruit and ginger beer or their Saharan Kingdom with Jameson Black Barrel, fig and cassia. Their Mojito is one of the best we've ever had and can also be ordered by the glass or by the pitcher ($48) which is perfect for your group. Sangria, beer, wine, sparkling and champagne is also on the drink menu.

We visited Haven Rooftop in the early evening and enjoyed their delicious Mezze Platter ($14) that features baba ganoush, tzatziki hummus, veggies and pita bread. Try their Shrimp Cocktail ($21) with colossal tiger shrimp or the Haven's Sliders ($19) that are wonderful with drinks. Dinner choices are just as tempting with Pan Seared Salmon ($24) or their nice variety of pasta dishes starting at $16.00.

The Haven Rooftop now features nightly live entertainment that includes music and belly dancers. Tented and heated for the winter months, they become an open air venue in the warm weather. It is a spot that makes you want to return again and again.
