Bar of the Week: HAVEN ROOFTOP at Sanctuary Hotel

Theatergoers, Times Square tourists, and guests of Midtown should make Haven Rooftop one of their go-to destinations. Located atop the Sanctuary Hotel on West 47th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue, they offer a great seasonal menu at a nice price point, artisanal drinks, and a rooftop view of the area. We stopped by on a Tuesday night to enjoy some drinks and apps after work in their welcoming, vibrant setting. There are plenty of seating options, whether you are going solo, enjoying a date night, or gathering your group.

Guests can indulge in selections that are ideal for sharing like the Sesame Crusted Tuna, Calamari, Guacamole and Chips, Crab Cakes, Havenly Chicken, Lobster, Rolls or Haven's Sliders. Pair your food with cocktails that include Star Sangria with Malbec, Torres Orange, Torres Brandy, Peach Liqueur and Fruit; the Haven Mojito with Bacardi, Mint, Ginger Liqueur, Ginger Beer; and the Supernova with Makers Mark, Blackberries, Mint, Vanilla Bitters, Lime Juice. There's also a fine selection of beer, wine and sparkling.

If you're in the mood for a weekend brunch, make Haven Rooftop your destination. The timing is just right pre-theatre for matinees. They serve Eggs Benedict, Brunch Pizza, Avocado Toast, Huevos Rancheros, Omelettes, French Toast and more. There's also a $20 bottomless option that offers Mimosas, Sangria, or Blood Marys for one hour.

Looking for a place to catch the World Cup games? They will be screening the games on their eight 55" screen TVs found throughout the venue. Their drink specials for the games include a gigantic Moscow mule for $120 or a beer bucket of 10 beers for $70.
