Bar of the Week: E:Bar at 59E59 Theaters

E:Bar at 59E59 Theaters gives you another reason to visit the fine performance venue on the Upper East Side. This charming spot is considered one of the city's favorite theater bars. The welcoming space located on the second level of the complex has their guests feeling right at home.

Make it a point to get to the theater before curtain and relax over red, white or rose wine, top-flight champagne and sparkling served by the glass or the bottle. There's also nice selection of beer that includes Brooklyn and Sierra Nevada and Stella Artois.

E:Bar has a never-ending selection of classic cocktails but we like some of their signature selections that have been specially crafted by Head Barman Alberto Rosario for 59E59 Theaters. "The J.B" was created for J.B Priestley's Cornelius that was in their 2013 Brits Off Broadway festival. The drink blends Dewars, Amaretto, Cointreau and fresh lemon shaken and served with a twist of orange. "The Park X" was inspired by the Theater's 10th Anniversary and and incorporates Tanqueray Ten Gin, St. Germaine, Sancerre and honey syrup shaken served up and topped with sparkling wine. There's about a dozen of these specialties and they are all very distinctive.

Alberto Rosario also has a selection of 22 Single Malt Scotches, perfect for sipping and lingering after performances. Be sure to stop by E:Bar next time you visit the theater.
