From the moment you walk in the door, you know that your experience at Limani is going to be very special. Now open in Rockefeller Center, the renowned Roslyn New York based Mediterranean seafood restaurant is pleasing their guests with wonderful lunch and dinner selections. They also present a $46.50 prix fixe three-course pre-theater dinner from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm excluding holidays. And with Radio City's Spring Spectacular and the Broadway season in full swing, their special is perfect just before the show.

Limani's stark white, modern interior and soaring ceilings are beautifully complimented by nautical décor. The gleaming square pool in the center of the dining room reflects a swirling sculpture of fish suspended from the ceiling. The open kitchen and fresh fish market display accent the elegant surroundings. The seating options can accommodate parties of all sizes from intimate dates to gatherings for business or with family and friends. Limani's spacious bar with its striking bottle display and high-top tables gives you yet another reason to visit. Their servers are gracious, knowledgeable and attentive insuring a memorable afternoon or evening dining experience.

We dined on a Saturday and enjoyed their pre-theater special. The three-course selections have a definite Greek flair and there is just the right variety to please many tastes. We started with an appetizer of Grilled Vegetables, and the Shrimp with Crab Cake with piazzi puree. For the second course, you can enjoy a Classic Greek Salad or a Green Salad, both with wonderfully fresh vegetables and garnished with light dressings. While seafood anchors the Limani menu, main courses also include Filet Mignon and Grilled Lamb Chops. We enjoyed their mild yet flavorful Mediterranean Sea Bass with capers and a savory lemon sauce. To top off your meal, there are tempting choices that include fresh fruit, sorbet, Baklava, or their Karidopita, a traditional Greek walnut cake.

Executive Chef M.J. Alam brings a wealth of experience to Limani's kitchen. He has created a lunch and dinner menu that uses the freshest seafood and locally sourced produce for superb seasonal delights.

Limani's extensive wine list and excellent beverage program allows you to perfectly pair your meal with wonderful drinks. We recommend Limani, in the heart of New York City, for an extraordinary dining experience.

Limani is located at 45 Rockefeller Plaza (on the corner of West 51st Street) New York, NY 10011. They are open daily for both lunch and dinner. You can call them at (212) 858-9200, e-mail them at limanimanager51@gmail.com or visit their web site at http://www.limaniny.com/NYC/index.html.
