Kings of Kobe is the new food lover's spot in Hell's Kitchen that serves the best burgers and hot dogs along with all the accompaniments. Tucked away on 9th Avenue at 52nd Street, the location is just blocks away from Broadway theatres. It's a top-notch eatery where you can enjoy a quick, tasty meal before or after a show. Sit down and relax in their cozy, attractive setting. Menu items are available for take out and convenient delivery service is available to a wide area of the neighborhood.

Their hot dogs and burgers are made of the finest all-natural American "Kobe Style" beef served on delicious buns. They also have a savory house made vegan burger. Inventive toppings for Kings of Kobe sandwiches are made on premises or locally sourced. And now, you can enjoy breakfast, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a delightful array of sandwiches and sides.

The restaurant is the brainchild of managing partner, Etai Cinader, a life-long hot dog and hamburger aficionado. We stopped by on a Tuesday night for dinner and met General Manager Clare Elmgren who helped us make some fantastic menu choices.

We savored a hot dog that had the taste and quality you won't find anywhere else. Their Banh Mine is a thick, juicy dog garnished with marinated cucumbers and carrots, cilantro and sriracha aioli. Other hot dog choices include the All Nighter with crispy bacon, onion marmalade, lemon zest, and blue cheese dressing or their Kings Classic with sauerkraut, red onion marmalade and spicy mustard.

Thick, tender burgers are cooked to your exact liking. It was hard to select one from the tempting menu but we decided on the Duke of Lux with smoked gouda cheese, caramelized onions, bacon and chipotle aioli. We'll be back soon for The Queen Rules with prosciutto pepper jack frisee and sweet chili jam and their Better Than Caesar with burrata, baby arugula and stone fruit relish.

Round out your meal with one some of Kings of Kobe's fantastic sides. The Red Onion Rings with roasted garlic aioli are not to be missed and the hand-cut Battered Fries are especially light and crispy. Snack items include Mac & Cheese Balls and the popular Waffle Dog with spicy maple aioli.

We like the well-selected, refreshing drinks that go perfectly with Kings of Kobe menu items. Beverage choices include local beers, wine, luscious milk shakes, fountain drinks and their special Sweet Fizzy Teas.

Kings of Kobe calls itself "The Burger & Hot Dog Monarchy" and with good reason. They serve fresh, exciting, casual meals that make you feel like royalty. It will be one of your favorite eateries in New York City.

Kings of Kobe is located at 790 9th Avenue (between 52nd and 53rd Streets) New York, NY 10019. You can eat in, take-out, or have a delivery. Kings of Kobe is pleased to accommodate orders for local businesses and groups with advance notice. Call 212-247- 3703 and visit: www.kingsofkobe.com.
