Galli, the popular Italian restaurant announces their new brunch menu that will be served at their Lower East Side location, 98 Rivington at the corner of Ludlow Street. This distinctive spot is already a favorite for lunch, dinner and dessert. Now, your favorite Italian comfort dishes are re-imagined into breakfast items.

With over 15 selections, the main attraction of Galli's menu is the variety of pasta dishes served so naturally that the Chef had to add one to the brunch menu - a twist on a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich called the Breakfast Bucatini. This Galli original consists of bucatini pasta, cream cheese, bacon, and parmigiano-reggiano all topped with a fried egg. Other signature items to debut on the new brunch menu are: Italian Toast, grilled focaccia bread, prosciutto di parma, fried egg and a touch of marinara sauce; and the Hangover Platter, rice balls, mozz chips and chicken parm sliders, with a side of pomodoro - a combination of your favorite fried bites.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Steven and Karen Gallo, along with business partner Michael Forrest, Galli Restaurant features Italian Comfort Food and great cocktails on cobble stoned Mercer Street in Soho and on the corner of Ludlow and Rivington Streets in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Guests will find recipes that have been passed down from Sicily through the Gallo family for generations. They offer classic Italian dishes such as Chicken Parmesan, Polpette (spaghetti and meatballs), Branzino and Chicken Marsala as well as Chef Steven Gallo's more modern dishes like the Integrale and Mad Calamari.

As guests enjoy their meals, they can relax in the casual, yet elegant dining room, accented with black-and-white Gallo and Forrest family portraits. Along the marble bar, guests can enjoy appetizers and specialty drinks created by their in-house mixologist like The Lazy Susan, which packs a punch thanks to the chamomile-infused grappa. Whether you're visiting for a quick post-work drink or a hearty meal, you'll find something delicious, comforting and maybe just a touch unexpected at Galli Restaurant.

Galli is located on the Lower East Side at 98 Rivington (corner of Ludlow Street) and in Soho at 45 Mercer Street (between Broome & Grand Street). Currently, the brunch menu is being served only at the Lower East Side restaurant. For more information, menus and reservations visit the Galli web site at www.gallirestaurant.com.
