Back for its 6th year, Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood, hosted by Gramercy Neighborhood Associates, Inc., returns to Irving Place on September 29, 2018. Showcasing some of the neighborhood's best restaurants, the event provides guests with the opportunity to sample dishes from many of the area's top culinary talent while experiencing the charm and culture of the Gramercy neighborhood.
Proceeds from Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood will benefit public schools including PS40 and School of the Future, while all excess food will be donated to the Bowery Mission. The team is also honored to be working with the Association of Community Employment (ACE), which provides job training and work experience to New York City's homeless. ACE will help to organize activities during the event and assist in post-event breakdown. As in all previous years, the festival will be using certified compostable products provided by World Centric, a company whose mission is to raise awareness for humanitarian and environmental issues.
This year's featured restaurant lineup of over 30 area eateries includes but is not limited to: Bouley at Home, Boucherie, Caffé Marchio, City Bakery, Junoon, Maialino, Taco Electrico, Tarallucci E Vino, and Wagamama
Back and bigger than ever, event-goers can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win over 15 exclusive prizes including A cut & color service worth $545 from acclaimed salon Tosler Davis; Class packs to the city's best fitness studios like Barry's Bootcamp, Rumble and Soul Cycle; Gift cards to Kiehl's and Rothman's; and Restaurant certificates to Le Coq Rico, Sal Anthony's, and Molly's and more.
