BWW Preview: MOUTH FULL? A FOOD STORYTELLING SHOW WITH SNACKS Debuts Pride Week Edition on 6/20

On June 20th, food story enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a new type of food event -"Mouth Full? A food storytelling show with snacks...sometimes." This delicious evening of food storytelling will feature six LGBTQ storytellers in honor of New York City's Pride Week. Simultaneously presented in front of a live audience at the Fisher & Paykel Experience Center and streamed via Facebook Live and Instagram Live, every personal and true story shared in the Mouth Full? show contains a food or beverage element. Storytellers include Michael Munoz, Shay Neary, and Kelli Dunham.

"The sharing of our food histories, memories and stories, whether funny, inspiring or sorrowful, connects us as human beings," says Jackie Gordon, Co-founder and Host of Mouth Full? "Barriers such as race, nationality, politics, gender, etc. can seem insurmountable until we get on the subject of food, and then we all seem to find commonality and connection."

"Mouth Full? is similar to sitting around a table enjoying good company and good food, and talking and sharing stories," added Co-founder and Producer Lora Wiley-Lennartz. "We're excited about launching "Mouth Full? a food storytelling show with snacks... sometimes" with a special Pride Week edition because "Mouth Full?" celebrates inclusiveness and invites all walks of people to take a seat at our dinner table."

The show starts at 6:15 p.m. (doors open at 5:15 p.m.). In addition to experiencing great storytelling, guests attending the live show will also enjoy nibbles and beverages including wine and soft drinks before the show. After the show, guests can mingle with the storytellers in the beautiful Fisher & Paykel Experience Center while enjoying generous snacks themed by the show's stories and from the sponsors. Both virtual (U.S. based) and live audience members have the opportunity to win door prizes.

Jackie Gordon: Host / Producer
