BWW Preview: DI LUSSO Announces The Art of Di Lusso Pop-Up Gallery in the Metro Area

The DI LUSSO® Brand is calling on salami lovers and art lovers in the Northeast to participate in The Art of Di Lusso Pop Up Gallery experience now happening at delis, food events, and family-friendly festivals across the region. From September 16 through October 11, 2015, an art exhibition housed in a customized truck will be traveling to events in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. This pop-up experience features a giant community canvas along with original works of art by 9 Brooklyn-based artists, plus free samples of DI LUSSO® Genoa Salami and other free giveaways.

The pop-up gallery will be coming to New York City on Saturday, October 3rd near Madison Square Park with food and a huge community art wall with the kids from Young Audiences New York and a live art demonstration by Cey Adams who is the former Creative Director of Def Jam Records.

"We want to celebrate the connection between our artfully crafted salamis and the unique talents of local artists," said Sebastian Friedman, DI LUSSO® Brand Manager. "We're so excited to be taking this show on the road and traveling to local delis where our loyal customers can sample our premium salami while enjoying a memorable art-inspired experience."

The Art of Di Lusso™ pop up gallery features new works created specifically for this exhibit by the following artists: Cey Adams, Alice Mizrachi, James Gulliver Hancock, Ellie Yang, Cynthia Horrigan, Werc, See One, Yueming Qu, and Maxx Moses. According to Cey Adams, former Def Jam Record Creative Director, "My goal was to create a painting layering rich textures and beautiful colors that honors the history and quality of the
DI LUSSO® brand."

The Art of Di Lusso™ pop up gallery encourages anyone of any age to grab a paintbrush and make their own mark on a giant community canvas that is part of the pop-up gallery. "Through this unique experience, guests will be able to interact with the DI LUSSO® Brand in an artistic way that celebrates the quality and craftsmanship of the brand," said Friedman.

As an important part of The Art of Di Lusso™ pop up gallery experience, the makers of DI LUSSO® will be donating $30,000 to the non-profit organization Young Audiences New York, which educates and inspires children through the transformative power of arts programs.
