BWW Preview: Baconfest Returns to ZEPPELIN HALL in Jersey City 1/19 to 2/12

Bacon lovers rejoice! The Metropolitan Area's largest biergarten, Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City, will host its 5th Annual BaconFest from January 19th to February 12th. The festival will feature complimentary bacon at the bar nightly from 4pm to 7pm, a menu of meaty, melt in your mouth dishes, over 100 unique beers, wine and cocktails, live bands, and DJs.

Zeppelin Hall's Executive Chef Franco Robazetti created 16 over the top bacon creations ranging from savory Bacon Pot Pie, to sweet Bacon Cotton Candy. Indulge in a Porchetta Sandwich soaked in its own juices, topped with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone on an oversizEd French baguette, or opt for Pork Belly Sliders with thick cut Pancetta with arugula, tomato and chipotle mayo on warm pretzel buns.

Bring friends if you plan on ordering the mother load, a Bacon Tomahawk Ribeye Steak. This 64oz gargantuan bone in ribeye steak is wrapped in bacon and served with German potato salad, spicy cabbage salad, sauerkraut and French fries. 2,000 pounds of bacon will be brought in for this over-the-top food fest.
