Neapolitan Express, the popular New York City food trucks and the first eco-friendly Neapolitan Pizza company 100% powered by clean energy, announces the opening of their first brick and mortar fast-casual Neapolitan Express restaurants.

The first location to open will be the Harlem Commissary and Restaurant located at 232 East 111th Street, which, in addition to serving fresh, delicious Neapolitan pizza, will serve as a space for Neapolitan Express food trucks to recharge, as well as a venue for community philanthropy that will be home to a rooftop garden.

Shortly after the opening of Neapolitan Express in Harlem, the Financial District location will open in the Trump Tower at 40 Wall Street, making Neapolitan Express the very first pizzeria to exist on Wall Street.

"Fast food should be good food" is a Neapolitan Express' core credo. Each of the new locations will maintain the original Neapolitan Express stringent standards through use of clean energy technology, electric ovens capable of making a pizza in 60 seconds at 900 degrees, and the best organic ingredients. The company considers top-quality ingredients a major element of good food, which is why they use additive-free "00" Caputo Flour, San Marzano Tomatoes, Mozzarella di Bufala D.O.P. and fresh basil.

At the helm of the new restaurants will be Neapolitan Express Culinary Director Giulio Adriani, who joins the company as an AVPN-certified Neapolitan Pizza master who began his training with his grandmother in Naples, and proceeded to study with master chefs across Naples. After years of wowing critics and customers alike with his trademark Montanara pizza, Giulio Adriana's first US restaurant's Margherita earned the Gold Medal at the 2010 World Pizza Championship in Salsomaggiore, Italy. In subsequent years, Giulio has opened multiple successful restaurants and received various awards, including Time Out New York's 2012 Reader's Choice Award for Best Pizza.

Neapolitan Express' emphasis on authentic ingredients and cutting-edge technology bring a fresh perspective to dining by uniting modern environmental consciousness and traditional Neapolitan flavor. As one of the only restaurants using alternative energy, Neapolitan Express is able to bring the best pizza to customers without the environmental footprint produced by traditional wood burning ovens and Neapolitan pizza producers.

Fresh off the heels of announcing a partnership with Fransmart to expand Neapolitan Express Mobile Pizzerias to a national level, this "superhero on wheels" will now become a staple in New York City's Harlem and Financial District. Neapolitan Express was launched in 2013 in New York City by Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Clean Energy Fuels founder T. Boone Pickens and Neapolitan Express founder Max Crespo.
