Camelback Resort celebrates another epic winter with their annual Parking Lot Party on Saturday, March 23rd - the biggest of its kind in PA - attracting thousands. The party extends beyond the parking lot with activities and entertainment including: pond skimming, cardboard box derby, live music, games, cook-off, tailgate decorating, raffles, prizes and more. All proceeds benefit Hope for Hannah Rescue, a local animal shelter in Bartonsville, PA.
Tailgate Party & Contest
Join radio celebrities Greg T from Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on Z100 and Gary In The Morning from Pocono 96.7 for grilling, live music (by Triple Rail Turn), games, activities, cook-off, tailgate decorating, raffles and more. Prizes will be awarded for the best overall tailgate, best theme, fan favorite and food favorite. Hundreds of parking spaces at the event grounds have already been reserved for $20 per space and proceeds will benefit Hope for Hannah, a local dog rescue.
Pond Skimming
The annual pond skimming event at Camelback Resort brings brave (and slightly crazy) costumed skiers and riders with a dream of successfully crossing the frigid pond, and if they're lucky, in style! Camelback season passes will be awarded for the best skim, best costume and best splash.
Cardboard Box Derby
The annual Cardboard Box Derby concludes the day as racers compete in contraptions made out of little more than cardboard, paper, tape and glue! Camelbeach tickets will be awarded for the fastest and the most creative boxes. For a list of derby box rules, visit: SkiCamelback.com
