Songs for a New World opened on April 1st, 2011 in Toronto. Today we are speaking with Erica Peck, recently seen in We Will Rock You and The Boys in the Photograph, on her role in the Jason Robert Brown musical.

Jason Robert Brown's first musical Songs for a New World got its Toronto debut on April 1st, 2011 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Starring Erica Peck, Denise Oucharek, Stewart Adam McKensy and Justin Bott, BWW is pleased to bring you a sneak peek at photos from the production.

The new 25th Anniversary Tour of the smash-hit musical Les Miserables is currently touring the United States, and just wrapped a sold out run at Detroit's Fisher Theatre. Next it heads to Milwaukee, WI, and the show is truly in top form.

On March 26th, Roy Thomson Hall was packed with eager hopefuls who came out to audition for the National Tour of Green Day's American Idiot. Dancap will be presenting the tour in December of 2011, and Toronto was the only Canadian city that the casting directors visited. On March 11th, 2011 the New York Pops pays tribute to the late Judy Garland in a special concert at Carnegie Hall. The show will play homage to her famous 1961 concert at the same location, and features Broadway stars Ashley Brown, Heather Headley and Karen Olivo. All week we are speaking with the people involved in this special night, and today we are talking to Judy Garland's daughter, Lorna Luft, about her involvement in the concert and what she remembers of that famous night in 1961.
