Playwright Simon Stephens has two major productions in New York this season. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time opens Sunday, October 5 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street), while Puck Rock will open at MCC's Lucile Lortel Theatre on November 17. MCC THEATER will soon feature film and TV star Douglas Smith, Pico Alexander, Lilly Englert, Lortel Award winner Annie Funke, Five-time Obie winner David Greenspan, Colby Minifie, Will Pullen, and Noah Robbins in the New York premiere of Punk Rock, a new play by Simon Stephens and directed by Trip Cullman. Performances for Punk Rock begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on October 29, 2014. Cinderella comes to life in this 50th Anniversary Edition of the most beloved fairy tale of all time, now available on DVD from Shout! Factory. Warren was promoting the release of the DVD at Barnes & Noble yesterday and you can check out photos from inside the special event below!

Academy Award® nominee Lesley Ann Warren - who was all of 18 years old when CBS-TV selected her as its CINDERELLA for the famed 1965 telecast of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA - joined the cast of the current Broadway company on stage to perform a number from the musical at the conclusion of the September 23rd performance. Miss Warren's CINDERELLA was such a success for CBS that the musical aired once each year for 8 years until 1974. Miss Warren's appearance coincides with the 50th anniversary release of the DVD of the 1965 CBS telecast
