Walter McBride As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. The upcoming Broadway reimagining of Side Show, featuring leading ladies Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, opens on Broadway this fall, with a revised book and lyrics are by Bill Russell, with music by Henry Krieger, and additional book material by Bill Condon. Musical direction and arrangements are by Sam Davis (Dreamgirls at the Apollo), orchestrations are by six time Tony Award nominee Harold Wheeler, (Hairspray, Dreamgirls, The Wiz); and choreography is by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia). Created and performed by renowned Australian actor/musician John R. Waters and esteemed singer/pianist Stewart D'Arrietta, Lennon: Through a Glass Onion launches a 20-week limited engagement starting Friday, October 3 at The Union Square Theater, (100 East 17th Street).
