NBC's new adventure-reality series 'Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls' (working title) is launching a nine-city, cross-country search to find fearless teams of two. Casting producers are looking for confident and competitive duos who think they have the courage and determination to survive in the wild and vie for this unique opportunity to compete for the reward of a lifetime.

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival out-of-competition sections Spotlight, Park City at Midnight and New Frontier, as well as the installations and performances to be featured in the Festival's New Frontier venue. The Festival takes place January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

'Closer,' off of their upcoming seventh studio album, Heartthrob (out January 29th on WBR), initially premiered on RollingStone.com and proved to be internet gold, peaking at #1 on Hype Machine's 'Most Popular' chart that same week. Another week, another record for "Duck Dynasty." Wednesday night's back-to-back premieres of A&E's hit series were watched by record audiences across all key demos, according to Nielsen. An astounding 4.9 million viewers tuned in to the 10:30PM episode. The episode was also watched by a series record 2.8 million adults 18-49 and 2.9 million adults 25-54, becoming the most-watched series telecast in network history among the key adult 25-54 demo.

MTV today announced that "BUCKWILD," a new series following a group of nine young, carefree and adventurous friends living in West Virginia, will premiere on Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The half-hour, 12-episode series will air two back-to-back new episodes each week, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Starz's hit SPARTACUS is headings towards its awaited conclusion with the third season premiering in January, but the network has decided not to abandon the source material entirely, Deadline has learned. Starz is reportedly exploring its options in developing a spin-off series following Roman leader Julius Caesar, with SPARTACUS executive producer Robert Talpert heralding the conversation.
