FOX has ordered eight episodes of the hit international unscripted comedy SLIDE SHOW, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

According to Deadline, FOX has dropped its upcoming midseason animated series MURDER POLICE from FAMILY GUY's David A. Goodman and Jason Ruiz. The project, which would have been apart of the Sunday night 'Animation Domination' lineup, will be shopped to other networks and continue with its 13-episode season order.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a supernatural pilot from Andrew Cosby titled STRANGE FICTION. Cosby is also set to write and executive produce.

NBCSN and Hockey East announced a two-year extension to their national television rights agreement today. Beginning with the upcoming 2013-14 college hockey season and continuing through the 2014-15 season, NBCSN will annually televise a minimum of five Hockey East games, and up to 12 regular-season games over the next two years. The network's coverage of Hockey East begins on Friday, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET when Massachusetts travels to Alfond Arena in Orono, Maine to take on Maine.

Feld Motor Sports(R) announced today that the highly anticipated Monster Energy Cup will air live on the recently launched FOX Sports 2 from Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium on October 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
