NFL Network's THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Scores 7.78 Million Viewers

Last night's New York Giants-Chicago Bears game on NFL Network delivered a 5.0 US HH rating and was watched by an average of 7.8 million viewers (not including over-the-air stations in New York and Chicago). Won by the Bears 27-21, the telecast topped last week's Thursday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns by 19% in rating (4.2) and 13% in viewership (6.9 M).

Manix Film Begins Production on BIG SKY

Manis Film announced that production started onBig Sky, the English-language debut of Mexican helmer Jorge Michel Grau (the original We Are What We Are). The film will star Bella Thorne (upcoming The Familymoon with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner; and Disney Channel's Shake It Up), Kyra Sedgwick (Emmy and Golden Globe winner for The Closer; The Possession; upcoming films Kill Your Darlings, Rays of Light and Reach Me), Frank Grillo (The Grey; End of Watch; Zero Dark Thirty; upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables; Howl; USA'sGraceland). Principal photography commenced this week in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Sandra Bernhard to Guest on ABC Family's SWITCHED AT BIRTH

Actress/singer/comedienne Sandra Bernhard (“Roseanne,” “The L Word,” “The Neighbors”) will guest star in ABC Family's original drama series, “Switched at Birth.” In a recurring role, Bernhard will play Teresa Lubarsky, a groovy art professor at a local college where Bay (Vanessa Marano) is taking classes. The Peabody Award-winning family drama returns for a third season in January, 2014.

Oxygen's PREACHERS OF L.A. Premiere Draws 1.1 Million Total Viewers

The series premiere of Oxygen's much anticipated new docu-series, 'Preachers of L.A.' delivered 1.1 million total viewers, 529,000 P18-49 and 378,000 F18-49, which marks the network's strongest Wednesday season premiere ever according to Nielsen. Last night's episode delivered Oxygen's second highest rated series premiere in network history among F25-54 (426,000). In the 10pm hour, Oxygen was the #5 cable network among F25-54 and compared to the prior four week time period average, the series premiere saw triple digit growth, up 282 percent in total viewers, 215 percent among P18-49 and 178 percent among F18-49.
