THEATER TALK to Celebrate HELLO, DOLLY!'s 50th Anniversary this Weekend

THEATER TALK celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Hello, Dolly! with a trio of guests, each with a different association with the long-running show. Actress Sondra Lee was the production's original Minnie Fay; Lee Roy Reams was Cornelius in the 1978 revival and directed the second revival in 1995; and dancer Marge Champion, married to the show's director-choreographer Gower Champion, was present at the show's creation. The 1964 mega-hit was a musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker, with a book by Michael Stewart, score by 26-year-old Jerry Herman and produced by the notorious David Merrick. The show's original cast included: Carol Channing, David Burns, Charles Nelson Reilly, Eileen Brennan and Ms. Lee. It ran for a record-breaking 2,844 performances from Jan. 15, 1964 to Dec. 27, 1970 and won 10 Tony Awards, a record it held for 35 years.

Nickelodeon pays tribute to the iconic Alice in Wonderland, and takes preschoolers on a musical adventure, in the brand-new Dora the Explorer primetime special, 'Dora in Wonderland,' premiering Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). In the hour-long special, when Abuela's kitties run through a magic mirror, Dora, Boots and all their friends travel through the magical, mixed-up world of Wonderland to catch up to them. Along the way, they come across a Mad Hatter (Mel Brooks), Rabbit (Alan Cumming), Cheshire Cat (Jewel) and the Queen of Hearts (Sara Ramirez) -- all while watching out for the Knave of Hearts (Swiper).

TODAY Scores Ratings Gold for Second Straight Week

Based on Nielsen national fast program ratings for last week (Monday, February 17 – Friday, February 21), NBC's TODAY has scored ratings gold once again with live broadcasts from Olympic Park in Sochi. TODAY averaged 5.866 million total viewers, topping GMA's 5.588 million by +5% (+278,000 viewers), which is a larger advantage over GMA than the first week of the Winter Olympic Games. In the key demo A25-54, TODAY averaged 2.317 million viewers, +7% (+145,000 viewers) more than GMA's 2.172 million. This marks the second straight week TODAY has been the number-one morning program.
