NBC's primetime coverage of Saturday night's NHL Stadium Series game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks (8-11:15 p.m. ET) from Soldier Field in Chicago averaged 2.8 million viewers and produced a 1.7 HH rating, making it the most-watched and highest-rated NHL regular-season game, excluding Winter Classics and regional coverage, since the advent of People Meters (1987), according to Fast National data from The Nielsen Company.

TNT's original scripted dramas grew their audiences for last week's winter premieres with solid Live + 3 deliveries, including more than 5.4 million viewers for Tuesday's episode of Rizzoli & Isles, 3.5 million viewers for Monday's season premiere of Dallas and 3.3 million viewers for Tuesday's return of Perception. Rizzoli & Isles' Live + 3 audience was +45% larger than its Live + Same Day delivery, while the audience for Perception grew a remarkable +63% over Live + Same Day. The Dallas audience grew by +33% over Live + Same Day.

HISTORY's(R) hit scripted drama VIKINGS (#Vikings) struck back with a vengeance during its season two premiere at 10:00pm last night, averaging 3.6 million Total Viewers, 1.8 million Adults 25-54, 1.7 million Adults 18-49, 1.2 million Men 25-54 and 1.1 million Men 18-49, remaining one of cable's top programs overall, finishing behind only The Walking Dead and American Horror Story: Coven among all cable dramas this year, according to Nielsen Research.
