Aston Magna's 2012 season marked its 40th year in the Berkshires, and to celebrate launched the season at Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA, with a concert on Saturday June 9 at 6:00 p.m.

Barrington Stage Company presents the New England premiere of British playwright's Duncan Macmillan's acclaimed new drama Lungs. Lungs opened the newly named St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2). Feinstein's at Loews Regency continues its Spring 2012 season with the debut of multi-award winning singer Jennifer Sheehan in her new show "I Know A Place." Sheehan and her trio traverse the vast spectrum of music that was the sensational soundtrack of the '60s. Plus, she shares how younger generations are falling in love with these classic songs just as their parents did. Brimming with songs and stories, "I Know A Place" features music by songwriters such as Burt Bacharach, The Beatles and Antonio Carlos Jobim and songs made famous by Barbra Streisand, Petula Clark, Carole King and more. New York's cabaret community just came together to celebrate the legacy of its late great impresario Donald F. Smith in a free public concert. Donald F. Smith, Executive Director and Founder of The Mabel Mercer Foundation, passed away in March, 2012. He created the New York Cabaret Convention 27 years ago. For many years it was held at Town Hall, a building he was instrumental in preserving as a New York City landmark.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is continuing its Spring 2012 season with the return engagement of award winning vocalist, Sheera Ben-David through May 19, 2012.

The Carlyle Hotel welcomed acclaimed vocalist Steve Tyrell back to the Cafe Carlyle for an exclusive two-week spring engagement last night, May 15, 2012. Playing through Saturday, May 26, 2012, Steve is celebrating the release of his newest collection "I'll Take Romance" (Concord Records), an homage to The Great American Songbook with tracks culled from several genres expressing the theme of romance.

Melissa Manchester just brought er solo concert to Blue Note. In addition to her many hit songs and albums, the New York-born Manchester has written for and acted in films, television and the stage.
