IT'S A GOOD DAY: A TRIBUTE TO MISS PEGGY LEE, featuring Stacy Sullivan presents a fall performance series at New York City's iconic Metropolitan Room. Stacy Sullivan, winner of the Backstage Bistro Award and the MAC Award for Outstanding Female New York Debut, has appeared in venues across the country, from Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York to the Ford Theatre in Hollywood. The show dates continue October 18th at 11:30 pm, November 10th at 11:30 pm, December 8th at 11:30 pm, January 28th at 7:00 pm, and February 23rd at 7:00 pm. The popular pop-jazz duo Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano return to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, to premiere "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes" for a one-week major engagement running through Saturday October 20. The newly minted evening features a treasure chest of assorted jazz and pop gems that the husband and wife tandem pull out by the handful -- songs from the Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim and Tom Waits. Lauren Fox, whose highly praised Joni Mitchell-Leonard Cohen show was considered one of the most artistically ambitious cabaret debuts in years, continues to explore the music of the '60s and '70s in a new show, 'Canyon Folkies,' playing at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street. In a major engagement consisting of four shows through November 2, Fox reunites with music director Jon Weber on piano, Peter Calo on guitar and Ritt Henn on bass. 'Canyon Folkies: Over the Hills and Under the Covers' performs Friday October 12 at 7pm; Friday October 26 at 9:30pm, and Friday November 2 at 7pm. Check out photos from the concert below!

The Friars Foundation was established in 1977 as the charitable arm of the Friars Club. It is a publicly supported Foundation and is the conduit through which the Friars accomplish one of its major goals: the betterment of society, particularly in the area of the performing arts. Last night, October 9, The Iriduim Jazz Club welcomed Nicholas King, winner of the 2010 Julie Wilson Award and the 2012 Bistro Award for Outstanding Performer. King voiced the character of "Oscar" in Discovery Kids' "Kenny The Shark", and has opened for his mentor Liza Minnelli across the US since 2006. Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, presents the premiere of one of the 20th century's greatest novels, William Golding's Lord of the Flies, adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams, and directed by Barrington Stage Associate Artist Christopher Innvar (The Whipping Man and The Collyer Brothers). FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will continue its Fall 2012 season with the return engagement of Tony Award-winning actress and singer Betty Buckley. In an exclusive four-week run, Ms. Buckley premieres her new collection of songs "The Other Women: The Vixens of Broadway." She will perform highlights from some of Broadway's most popular shows, but will celebrate the second female leads, who have introduced classics like "When You're Good to Mama" (Chicago), Another Suitcase In Another Hall (Evita), "I Know Things Now (Into the Woods), "Ribbons Down My Back" (Hello, Dolly!), "Whatever Lola Wants" (Damn Yankees) and "The Miller's Son" (A Little Night Music). Ms. Buckley - who will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Tony Marino on bass, Vic Juris on guitar and Todd Isler on drums - will also feature a selection from her new CD Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway, from Palmetto Records, which is based on last year's acclaimed Feinstein's show. "The Other Woman: The Vixens of Broadway" will run through October 27 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). Check out photos from the concert below!

On Monday, October 1, the Friars Club presented 'Remembering the Oak Room: A musical tribute by its headliners.' This 90-minute program was held in memory of the legendary cabaret venue, featuring nearly a dozen A-list performers whose careers were closely associated with the nightclub in the Algonquin Hotel.
